Plexus reinforcement connection systems are type certified and fulfil the requirements set out in the leaflet “Bending of concrete steel and requirements of casings” published by the DBV (Deutscher Beton-Verein E.V.) in the wording of January 2011. Pull out lengths are deduced in accordance with DIN 1045-1:2008-08, section. 12.3.2.
- The surface coating of the casing has been classified as ‘smooth’ in accordance with the IBAC (Institut für Baufor. Aachen)
- Diameter of bending roller: 6ds as per Standard
- Bent section of metal connectors within casing
- Transverse hooks on individual strips to simplify insertion of reinforcement
- Galvanised casing can remain inside concrete
- Face sides sealed with wood, thereby extremely stable
- Plastic cover (from stirrup width 18cm with steel cover) for lower weight, easier and reduced risk of injury
- No plastic residue remains in the concrete
Bond length lü: acc. to DIN 1045: acc. to ÖNORM B4200:
Ø 8mm: 32cm 29cm
Ø 10mm: 39cm 36cm
Ø 12mm: 46cm 42cm
Length of element: 1250mm
Stirrup hight: for Ø 8 and 10mm = 150mm, for Ø 12mm = 170mm
Box hight: for Ø 8mm = 30mm, for Ø 10 and 12mm = 36mm
The dimension “h” and “lü” may deviate by 1 – 2cm due to production and installation conditions.
